at My Yoga Space, Thirlmere, NSW.
•Craft •Contemplation •Conscious Creation
Do you long for a slow, meaningful creative process, with no pressure, allowing space for reflection, dreaming and intention setting for the year ahead?
Join us for a half day workshop of Mindful Making, where textile art meets inner enquiry.
In this 4 hour workshop, you’ll create a unique fabric cover for your 2026 journal, planner or notebook using upcycled textiles, slow stitching, dry needle felting and cordage making.
Limited spaces, so book now and look forward to
an opportunity to slow down and turn inward through the meditative flow of creativity.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, inspired and connected to your creation.
This is more than a crafting session: It is a ritual of intention, reflection, and conscious preparation for the year ahead.
During this workshop, expect:
꩜ To feel free from judgment, expectations or demand, where we focus on the process of creativity, self expression and community connection.
꩜ To experience a sense of calm, focus and clarity through our sense of touch and the rhythm of Slow stitching techniques.
꩜ To enjoy a sense of playfulness and intuition through the use of Upcycled fabrics, rich with history, texture, colour and pattern.
꩜ To design a personal symbol, sign or motif that carries meaning for you, that is created using dry needle felting, wool roving and felt, then mindfully hand sewn to embellish your journal cover.
꩜ To learn the technique of cordage making using fabric, creating a twined cord to tie your precious journal closed.
꩜ Experience a guided Yoga Nidra practice to integrate the creative process and access deeper layers of awareness, intuition and insights.
꩜ An opportunity for journaling, reflection or intention-setting for the year ahead.
You are not just creating a finished cover to hold your 2026 journal, planner or notebook: you are creating a sacred container for your reflections, thoughts, plans, and visions for 2026.
